AN armed man threatened a cashier with a handgun and stole cash from a betting shop in Lowestoft on Saturday.
The masked man entered the Ladbrokes shop in Victoria Road just before 6.50pm and demanded that the woman cashier hand over money. A quantity of cash was handed over before the man fled.
There was no one else in the shop at the time and no one was hurt.
The man was white, about 6ft tall and stocky, he was wearing a black mask with white bits on it. He was also wearing a builders-style jacket and black trousers.
