CCTV images have been released of a man wanted for police questioning in connection with an alleged shop theft in Eye.

The man is said to have walked into the Co-op in Broad Street at about 4.45pm on Wednesday, February 11, bought a lottery ticket, and then “confused” the staff member by asking for cash to be changed at the same time.

Police said the till was later found to be missing money,

The man wanted for questioning is described as a white, aged in his 30s or 40s, of a large build and approximately 5ft 5in tall. He was wearing a black hat with white writing and a black jumper.

Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call police on 101.
