CCTV images of men wanted in connection with two incidents of criminal damage on town centre shops have been released by police.

Two shops in the heart of Bury St Edmunds were targeted last month when vandals smashed windows of the Norwich and Peterborough building society, in Abbeygate Street, and the nearby Formal Hire by Gerald Boughton, in The Traverse.

Police, who are linking the instances, have issued CCTV images of men wanted in connection with the crimes and appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The stills show men police say they want to trace in connection with the incidents which both happened sometime between 5pm on February 5 and 8.30am the next day.

Anyone with information should contact Bury police on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
