CCTV images of two men police would like to trace after a car and garage were broken into in Braintree have been released.
Officers want to speak to the men in connection with the incident on Pintail Crescent overnight between March 7 and 8.
Between 5pm and 8pm, entry to a black BMW was forced and the steering wheel and front console, containing a built-in sat nav and radio, was stolen.
Around 2.30am, a garage was entered and searched but nothing was taken.
Essex Police would like to speak to the men as part of their investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call Pc Kate Matthams at Braintree Police Station on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111.
