CCTV has been issued by British Transport Police detectives following a sexual assault on a train.

A woman, 33, was approached by a man on the platform at Liverpool Street station as she prepared to board the 9.38pm service to Clacton on November 14, and he joined her on the train.

The woman fell asleep, but was awoken by him touching her inappropriately. He got off the train at Witham.

Detective Constable Alan Reed said: “I am confident the man in the image can help with our investigation. Who is he?”
