Police in Essex have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a fraud investigation.

Officers received reports that a man used a fake passport to take out a three-figure sum from another person’s account in Great Dunmow on March 20.

The man then attempted to transfer a five-figure sum of cash out of the same account.

Police believe that he also made enquiries at banks in Frinton and Colchester on March 19.

Anyone with any information about the incidents are asked to call the Serious Economic Crime Unit on 101 quoting the crime reference 42/40906/18 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 55511.
