The home on Creeting Road East opened its doors to the public for a ‘cracking’ Easter fête, complete with family-friendly activities including face painting, and a selection of Easter arts and crafts.

Residents and visitors were also joined by members of the Stowmarket Fire Service.

Home manager, Michelle Webster, said: “Easter is an important time of year here at Cedrus House, and many of our residents have lovely memories of celebrating the occasion with their families. So as well as being great fun, our fête was also a valuable reminiscence activity for those living with dementia.

“We had a brilliant day welcoming family, friends and the people of Stowmarket to the home for what really was an ‘egg-cellent’ day. We’d like to give special thanks to the Stowmarket Fire Service and of course, the Easter Bunny, for making the day egg-stra exciting!”
