Families and community leaders celebrated the £70,000 refurbishment of a play area in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday.
A picnic and ceremony marked the reopening of the Nowton Pit play area, in Southgate Park, following extensive work and the construction of new play equipment.
The event was attended by families, local police, the St Edmundsbury Borough Mayor Patrick Chung, borough cabinet member for leisure Jo Rayner and Southgate ward councillor Sarah Stamp.
