AFC Sudbury made behind-the-scenes changes to their management and company structure ahead of next season’s switch to Ryman League Division One North.
Former joint-chairman of AFC Sudbury Philip Turner will now become chairman of AFC Sudbury taking on responsibilities for the first and reserve team.
He will also take up a position on the AFC Sudbury executive board along with former chairman Keith Morris, Peter Scott, AFC company secretary Dick Burge and Mark Pearman.
AFC treasurer Brian Tatum has decided to retire from day-to-day responsibilities after giving tireless effort and dedication to AFC Sudbury since 1999, and to local football in general after more than 52 years’ of dedicated service.
The club are delighted that Brian will remain involved at Kings Marsh and will now have the opportunity to benefit from his life’s work.
