POLICE have appealed for help in tracking down a man wanted for assault and knife offences.
Darren Saveall is wanted for brandishing a knife outside a residential property in Broomfield during the evening of Sunday, March 31 before assaulting a 67-year-old woman in a nearby car park an hour later.
The 26-year-old unemployed man is last known to have been living on Tamar Rise, Chelmsford.
He is described as white, of slim build, approximately 6ft 5ins tall and has brown hair.
Investigating officer, Pc Andy Cox, said: “We would urge anyone who knows of Darren’s whereabouts to get in touch with us as a matter of urgency.
“We would like to remind people that it is a criminal offence to harbour or assist anyone who is wanted by police.”
