Chelmsford: Police investigate man’s death in public toilets

A man was found dead in a block of toilets last night in Chelmsford.

Police are investigating the circumstances leading up the incident in Market Road where the man, who was in his 20s and from the town, was found.

A 28-year-old man from Chelmsford remains in custody having been arrested on suspicion of the supply of articles in use of preparation of opiates.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place today, however at this time officers are not treating the death as suspicious.
