FIRE fighters used specialist rods to deal with a chimney which caught fire at a village home.
They were called at 7.02pm last night to Lodge Farm in Lower Green. Higham, near Bury St Edmunds.
A fire service spokesman said they arrived at the detached two-storey home to find the chimney on fire. They used chimney rods and water to put out the fire. The incident was dealt with by 8.23pm.
