Weird and wonderful metal sculptures, nativity scenes made out of recycled wood and fine art paintings are just some of the exhibits at a free Suffolk arts and crafts fair this weekend.

Dozens of artists and entrepreneurs will be gathering at Stonham Barns, near Stowmarket, to give shoppers inspiration for this year’s Christmas presents – with just four weeks to go before the big day.

Charities will also be well represented with Help for Heroes, East Anglian Air Ambulance, Suffolk Animal Rescue, St Nicholas Hospice Care as well as Street Forge, which provides training and activities for adults with disabilities, all raising much-needed funds.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy Christmas with the Owls of the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, also located at Stonham Barns where they can meet Father Christmas in his grotto with his reindeers.

Gary Newland, events manager at Stonham Barns, said: “There’s a fantastic array of unusual, unique and special gifts at the Christmas Craft Fair. It’s a great opportunity to finish - or start - your Christmas shopping while enjoying all the attractions here at Stonham Barns.”

The fair takes place under cover at Stonham Barns between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, November 25, and Sunday, November 26, and entrance is free.
