More than 100,000 fans attended the first day of the event but what’s instore today?

Airshow’s 27th event continues today after a superb start yesterday.

The return of the Red Arrows is set to be one of the highlights of todays showcase but they aren’t the only one’s who will be displaying their skills.

The RAF Chinook Display Team will also be heading to Clacton today from their base at RAF Odiham in Hampshire.

A number of aerobatic teams will also be taking to the skies as well as other aircraft including Typhoons, Vampires and biplanes.

With plenty of suprises to wow the crowd on the first day, organisers have promised there will be more of the same today.

As well as the displays and back on terra firma the exhibition stands, food court and on-site entertainment will all be carrying on today.

The Red Arrows will be kicking off the second day’s displays at 1pm.
