Police are appealing for information following the after a schoolboy was robbed in Clacton.
The 12-year-old boy was in the recreation ground off Knox Road when he was threatened into handing over his mobile phone. No weapons were seen.
Officers would like to speak to any witnesses who were in the area at about 3.40pm when the robbery happened.
The suspect was a white man in his early twenties, skinny, and 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins tall. He had some facial hair and was wearing a grey woolly hat, dark grey jumper, black hoody and grey jogging bottoms.
