Clacton: Assault victim suffers cuts to head

DETECTIVES in Clacton are appealing for witnesses to an assault hat left a 28-year-old man with a cut to his head and other injuries.

The alleged attack happened on Wednesday at around 4.30pm in the Victoria Road area of Clacton.

Following the incident the man knocked on the door of a house in Victoria Road asking for help but left the scene prior to police and ambulance arrival. He was later located in Ipswich where he received treatment. He says that two men attacked him and hit him over the head but has been unable to provide police with many details.
