Firefighters today tackled a fire at the Tom Pepper pub on Marine Parade West, Clacton.
Two crews from Clacton and one from Weeley were sent to the scene at 4.39pm.
The fire was at the rear of the pub and involved a flat roof, which the incident commander reported as well alight.
The fire was fully extinguished by 5.48pm.
