Arsonists are believed to be behind a fire which gutted a derelict building in a Clacton holiday park.
Firefighters from Weeley and Clacton were sent to the incident at the Seawick Holiday Park, in Beach Road, at about 5.55pm today.
The two-storey building, which the fire service said measured seven metres by 10metres, was completely alight when they arrived.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to tackle the fire, which was extinguished by 8.30pm.
A spokesman for the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire has been recorded as deliberate.”
