Police are on the hunt for a man in a pink thong who exposed himself to a teenage girl and her friends.
A man approached a 16-year-old girl and her friends on the lower promenade between Clacton Pier and Albany Gardens shortly after 6pm on Monday, April 7.
After taking the thong off in front of them, he made inappropriate gestures in front of the group before scarpering off.
Investigating Officer, Pc Keith Rowland, said: “Thankfully, the young girls were very sensible and took steps to move away from this man, not really knowing what his intentions were, but they were left very shaken by the incident.
“We’re looking to speak with those people who were taking an evening stroll on that day and who saw this man - when he had been wearing his thong, or the moment he indecently exposed himself to the girls.”
The man is described as white, also wearing a grey T-shirt and was barefooted.
Anyone with information should contact investigation officers at Clacton police station on 101.
