Police have launched an appeal after suspected burglars tried to force their way into a house.
The incident happened between 3-4pm on Friday in Gilders Way, Clacton. An attempt was made to force a panel on the front door.
Anyone with information should contact PC Matthew Delabruyere or his colleagues at Clacton CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
