Two men are due to appear in court today after being charged with committing a burglary at a retirement complex in Clacton.
The break-in happened when thieves entered the residential property on Old Road shortly after 2.30am on Tuesday, November 5 and stole a purse.
A short time later, two men were arrested nearby on suspicion of committing burglary. Later that day, 22-year-old unemployed Tommy Court from Almond Close in Clacton and 25-year-old unemployed Daniel Clover from Colne Road also in the town were each charged with one count of burglary.
They were both detained in police custody prior to their appearances at Colchester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, November 6.
