A female dog walker was robbed at knifepoint in Clacton yesterday, police said.

Police are tracing a man who told the 26-year-old woman “give me everything you’ve got, empty your pockets” before producing a flick knife.

The woman, who was walking her dogs in a field near the Cann Hall Estate in the town, handed over her white iPhone 5 with a gold case.

The victim was uninjured in the incident which took place at around 5.15pm.

The suspect is described as white, around 24 years old, with very, very fair skin, around 5ft 9ins tall and of a medium build.

He is described as having very fair eyebrows with square shaped, short front teeth. He had what has been described as a nasty red spot around his mouth.

He was wearing a black woolly hat, a black ribbed cardigan, waist-length with a funnel neck, black padded zip-up body warmer with horizontal stitching and dark jeans.

The knife he carried is described as a flick knife with a black boxed style handle.

Another woman, spotted near the robber by the victim, is also wanted by police.

She is described as white around 5ft 4-5ins tall and of average/slim build.

She was in her early 20s, with long dark, elbow-length straight hair. She was wearing a green waist length ‘parka style’ jacket and carried a cream bag with a long shoulder strap.

Detective Constable Louise Nellist, of Essex Police, is appealing for witnesses to the incident.

She said she wants to hear from anyone who thinks they may know who the suspects are, anyone who has been offered the phone or knows anyone who has a knife matching this description.
