EMERGENCY services were called to a two-vehicle crash in Clacton this morning.
Essex police were alerted to the accident on the A133 London Road, near Brook Retail Park, at 9.30am.
Firefighters used one set of cutting equipment to release the trapped female driver.
She was left in the care of paramedics. Her injuries are unknown.
The crash left the road partially blocked between St Johns roundabout and the B1369 Old Road junction.
