A 23-year-old man has been charged with burglary and three other offences following an incident in Claydon.

Liam Claydon, of Wellington Street, in Ipswich, was charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without third party insurance and driving a vehicle other than in accordance with licence.

Claydon has been bailed to return to Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on June 3.

The charges relate to an incident which happened today in Old Ipswich Road where car keys were stolen from a business premises.

They coincide with Suffolk Constabulary’s Operation Drawbridge aimed at tackling burglaries across the county.
