A man has serious head injuries after crashing his motorbike at the Old Ipswich Road junction of Norwich Road, Suffolk Police reported.
Officers were called to the scene at 5.44am and there were no other vehicles involved in the incident.
The driver reportedly fell off his motorbike and sustained serious head injuries.
He was taken to Ipswich Hospital after paramedics assessed him at the scene. It is not known at this point where the man is from or what age he is.
There was no access to the village from the A14 while debris was cleared.
The road is now open and available for motorists to use.
