A MAN is currently being questioned by police following a crash on the A14.
Police were called at 3pm today after a blue Toyota MR2 was involved in a collision with a 21-year-old Ipswich woman, believed to have been a pedestrian.
“The accident happened on the eastbound carriageway, just before junction 51.
The woman was treated by paramedics at the roadside and taken to Ipswich Hospital where her condition is described as stable. A 30-year-old man from Stowmarket was arrested shortly afterwards and is being interviewed at Ipswich police station.
Less than an hour later, at 3.50pm there was an accident on the A140 near Coddenham. A car and van collided but there were no injuries and the matter will be dealt with by their insurance companies.
