A TRAINEE solicitor is taking on the challenge of running this year’s Virgin London Marathon.

Ben Gale, from Colchester, is running in aid of deafblind charity, Sense, and hopes to complete the run in under four hours.

Mr Gale, 25, said: “I have never taken part in a competitive run before but I love a challenge and have wanted to run the London Marathon for years. This has been no mean feat, but the hard work and dedication has really paid off.

“It’s great to know that I’m helping to support deafblind people achieve their own goals and enjoy some of the things that most people take for granted.” Visit http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/BenGale to donate.
