POLICE in Essex are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in Riverside.
A burglar is believed to have entered a property at Exeter Drive at 4pm on Monday and stole jewellery worth a three-figure sum.
Investigating officer Pc Spencer Keeble said: “This break-in happened in daylight and at a time when there would have been plenty of cars or pedestrians passing in Exeter Drive or nearby Guildford Road.
“We want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the street at the time, especially if they saw someone trying to get round to the back of properties or running down the street.”
