A COUPLE returned from holiday to find their Essex home had been burgled.
The pair came home to Cowdray Avenue, Colchester on Thursday and discovered jewellery and electrical items had been taken by thieves.
Investigating officer Pc Natalie King said: “It was very upsetting for them to return home from holiday to find their home turned upside down and personal items stolen.
“Thieves broke in and anyone who can help identify who is responsible is asked to contact me at the Target Offender team at Colchester on 101.”
