FIREFIGHTERS were scrambled to the scene of a fire at a property in Colchester.
Two crews were mobilised to the end of terrace property in Blackthorn Avenue just before 3.45pm.
Firefighters found the first floor of the home was 25% alight and 100% smoke-logged.
Crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reels to extinguish the flames by 4.25pm.
