A person was trapped in a car following a crash in Colchester in the early hours of today.
The accident happened shortly before 3am in Cymbeline Way.
Firefighters were called to help free the trapped motorist, using specialist equipment to cut the casualty from the car.
Paramedics were on scene to treat the trapped casualty and one other person, who was also in the car but not trapped.
By 4.05am the motorists were left in the care of the East of England Ambulance Service.
