A MAN has been charged with two counts of attempted rape following an alleged sex attack at Essex University.
A 22-year-old man from Colchester was arrested in connection with an incident which happened on Thursday October 7.
An 18-year-old woman was walking along a footpath back from a nightclub on the Wivenhoe Campus at about 2am when she was allegedly assaulted.
The man has been released on bail to appear at Colchester Magistrates Court on December 23.
