This was the dramatic scene after a crash left a car on its side in Colchester.
Emergency services attended the scene on the corner of Stansted Way and Queen Elizabeth Way during the morning of Wednesday, June 10.
A black Peugeot 2008 had struck a lamppost and ended up on its side.
A police car and an ambulance were seen in attendance.
According to a tweet posted by Essex Police officer Nathan Bright, no-one was seriously injured in the incident.
