A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a crash in Colchester this evening.
The accident happened in Walnut Tree Way and involved a car and a motorbike.
The rider was taken to Colchester General Hospital with what were described by police as serious pelvic and internal injuries.
The road was closed for a short time while the scene was examined and cleared.
