A TEENAGER has been charged following a stabbing incident which left a man hospitalised in Colchester.
Detectives have charged a 17-year-old, from Braintree, with grievous bodily harm with intent. He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.
The 17-year-old offender and a 41-year-old man from Colchester and, who were known to each other, needed hospital treatment after the incident which happened at around 3.45pm on Monkwick Avenue, Colchester.
The 41-year-old received a number of wounds and was taken to hospital. He was described as being in a stable condition and his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
The 17-year-old was found outside McCoys in Queensland Drive a short time after the incident and was arrested.
