A WOMAN died this morning following a house fire near Colchester.
Fire crews discovered the body while battling flames at a semi-detached property in The Street, Chappel.
The alarm was raised with fire fighters around 5.22am who took just over an hour to put out the blaze.
A full investigation will be launched today to establish the cause of the fire.
