TWO good days but knew it could not last - says our commuter Anita Curtis.
Anita, who travels from Ipswich to london Liverpool Street each day has emailed to say: “Slumber disturbed this morning when stuck at signal outside shenfield. Told it was person ill on train at Brentwood!
“Train creeps to Shenfield station and stops again. Death stares from Shenfield commuters standing on platform as they try to board our train but doors are locked.
“Now informed there will be a 30 minute delay. We shall see! They will do their best to make sure it is 29 minutes so we won’t be able to claim compensation.
“I was wrong. 35 minutes late. Where’s that compensation form?” Anita will be updating us about journey disruptions, add your thoughs by Tweeting using #CommuterDiary
