Travelling home in the scorching heat last night, commuter Anita Curtis was forced to stand most of the way from Liverpool Street.
Last night she said: “The train this morning was on time.
“Not sure why but evening train was heaving and I had to stand all the way to Manningtree.
“Still, as they say, even though we pay £5,600 per annum this does not guarantee you a seat! Oh joy!”
