POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a convicted killer who has fled from a Suffolk prison.
Dennis Jackson, 36, who was serving a life sentence for murder, is believed to have left Hollesley Bay around 5pm yesterday.
He is described as black, around 5ft 9ins tall, of slight build, with short black hair and a tattoo on his arm.
At the time he went missing he had a full beard.
He has connections to the Hackney and West Norwood areas of London.
If anyone sees Jackson they should phone the police with the details.
They should not approach him or take any further action.
Anyone who may have seen him, or who may have information about where he is now, should call Suffolk police on 01473 613500 or contact their nearest police station.
