SUFFOLK's element of council tax bills is set to go up by 2.4 per cent after a full meeting of the county endorsed the proposed budget.The meeting also heard that more staff had been taken on by the county over the last year - staff numbers increased by 500 including 270 at newly-opened children's centres that are funded by the government.
