A SIX-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash in Suffolk.

The youngster was involved with a collision in Rowan Way, Worlingham, near Beccles, at about 9.30pm on Saturday.

He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious injuries including major head trauma, chest compression and a fracture to his right arm.

The road was closed until 4am yesterday while police investigated the smash.
