Youngsters have been learning their Shakespearean lines in preparation to perform in front of their families.

Teachers at Creeting St Mary CEVAP School, near Needham Market, have been guiding the Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils through .

Ipswich-based activities centre Dance East is running the three-day Shakespeare festival which the school is taking part in.

Headteacher Lyn Spall said: “We started thinking about this in July and we have been having rehearsals since September. It’s going really well – it’s amazing to think that eight to 11-year-olds can do Shakespeare. This has been a project all about Shakespeare and his other plays – involving other parts of the curriculum.”

Children will be performing their 30 minute production on Wednesday.
