A MAN has been seriously injured in a crash which left his car on its roof.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene of the crash in Cressing Road, Cressing in Essex, at 11.46am.
A vehicle flipped on to its roof, left the road and ploughed into a ditch outside Cressing Temple.
A man in his thirties was trapped in the vehicle and crews used specialist cutting equipment to release him by 12.46pm.
He was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. He suffered fractures to his legs in the crash.
The road was closed until 3.30pm.
