FIREFIGHTERS in Suffolk dealt with a stubble fire in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze took place in a field near Mere Lane in Fornham All Saints shortly after midnight.
A crew from Bury St Edmunds used a hose reel jet to douse the flames.
The incident was dealt with by 12.44am.
At 12.36am, two fire crews were sent to Rushmere, near Lowestoft, following reports that a car was alight.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reel jets extinguished the fire, in The Street, by 1.20am.
