FIREFIGHTERS in Essex tackled two flat fires in the county today.
Crews were first called at 12.12pm to a fire in a flat in Affleck Road, Colchester.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus to help extinguish the flames in the first floor flat by 12.45pm.
At 2.26pm crews dealt with another flat fire in Moorfields, Harlow.
The flat was heavily smoke logged and crews wearing breating apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire by 2.55pm.
