An 81-year-old cyclist who sustained serious injuries following a collision in Stowmarket last week has died.
Police were called by the Ambulance Service at 3.40pm on Wednesday September 30, to reports of collision between a car and a bicycle in Needham Road.
Derek Cook, of Lyme Tree Place in the town, was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with life-threatening head injuries, where he subsequently died.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101 quoting reference CAD 295 of September 30.
