A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital with head injuries after hitting the windscreen of a car.
The 23-year-old man was in collision with a car outside the Barber Shop in Cannon Street, Bury St Edmunds at 3.20pm today.
Paramedics placed the casualty on a spinal board and neck brace before taking him to West Suffolk Hospital in the town.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the man’s injuries were not considered to be serious but he was taken to casualty for a check up.
