A MOTORCYCLIST killed in a crash in Newmarket last night was a USAF serviceman, it has emerged.
The accident which claimed the life of the 23-year-old, who was based at RAF Lakenheath, happened in the Old Station Road and Cheveley Road area of the town.
The tragedy comes as Suffolk County Council bosses are today due to meet with representatives from RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath to discuss road safety.
