A number of trains travelling through Suffolk and north Essex have been delayed today because of track problems.
A speed restriction has had to be placed on defective track between Hatfield Peverel and Witham, reducing the speed of trains in the area.
Delays of around 10 minutes are likely to affect trains running through these stations and this is expected to last until 1pm.
Network Rail engineers are at the location of the fault to try and repair it.
