Tailbacks on the A14 heading westbound have been caused by a single-vehicle crash.
The incident happened at around 5.50pm on the westbound carriageway at Wherstead.
A lorry or a van are understood to have collided with the central reservation, and spilt concrete debris on the road.
One lane is currently blocked while recovery is underway.
A Suffolk police spokesman said there were no injuries.
